Kozik
1AM and curator James Brown, are proud to present “Kozik”, an exhibition that pays homage to Frank Kozik’s artistic career over the past 30 years. The show reflects on his iconic work from being a poster artist for renowned bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Beastie Boys to a vinyl toy sculptor and designer. The new collection aims to expose his influence on art culture today by showcasing new and original posters by the man himself, Frank Kozik, as well as including select artists to interpret his designs into new narratives.

The Two-Faced Show
GUNNZO is excited to present the "two-faced show”, a group exhibit centered around individual artist’s interpretation of what it is to be two-faced. We’ll be introducing a collection of both 2D and 3D works, including custom sculpted and painted "Two-Faced Hazel" vinyl toys, along with a range of multi-dimensional paintings and drawings by more than 40 artists from all over the world. Come and gaze into their mysterious hidden faces, then, perhaps meet some of the artists behind them at the opening reception on Saturday, October 13th from 5-9pm. Enjoy an evening of art, tacos and desserts. Including ice cream provided by Seaport Village Ben & Jerry’s. Most Wanted: Behind the Hype
“The Most Wanted” (MW) is an artist collective that started in 2009 and created by Tim Munz, Igor Ventura, and Manny Rivas. It is a custom Dunny series that pays homage to Kidrobot and their classic blind box series. Bringing together a huge collective of talent from across the globe, MW1 and its’ predecessor, MW2, were instant successes with both series selling out in a matter of seconds. Despite the continuing success of the collection, the founders’ goal remains the same: find and showcase the most competent up-and-comers in the scene and spread their talent across the globe. One of the best ways to do that is to exhibit the incredible works at art galleries. The “Most Wanted: Behind The Hype” show has no particular theme to limit the artists’ imagination. Manny and James wanted everyone to bring their own distinctive styles to the table and present them on the most popular platforms out there, KidRobot’s Munnys and Dunnys. The focus of this exhibit is to display the true talent and passion that lies behind the customized toy hype. What is the hype? Join us at the opening reception on Friday, May 11th and find out!

AdFunture provided their 3” blank Yoka panda bear vinyl figures and DKE Toys co-founders Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks found over 200 artists to participate in the Custom Yoka Show. Featuring work from 20 countries the show turns the quirky little panda into everything from a dirty thug to a sweet snail in this tremendous exhibition. Pieces range from $25 to $800 and will be available for purchase through Black Maria Gallery.
