Celebrate TAG's 1st Anniversary at Melrose this SaturdayToy Art Gallery Anniversary Show 2012 on 9/15

This month has been Toy Art Gallery's first full year in it's new location on Melrose, and to celebrate they've invited 50+ artists to create exclusive editions, one-of-a-kind custom toys and works of art, limited edition apparel, and more. The 'TAG Anniversary Show' will open it's doors Saturday 9/15 starting at 7pm and it will run until 10pm. UAMOU x MAQET … Bound for gloryUamou by Ayako Takagi x Maqet

The name UAMOU has become an institution; it is the name of the artist, the manufacturer and the platform of the cute little horned "devil" toy. And now Ayako Takagi (aka UAMOU) will have her iconic beastie rendered in Plastin, the modern, eco-friendly alternative to ceramic that MAQET uses to make their line of collectibles. As implied, this indicates that UAMOU and MAQET have teamed up to release an edition of her UAMOU design.
