Resin Modern Hero dropping soonNew take on MAD's classic figure
Had another great adventure with MAD at NYCC this year, and was able to see his new resin Modern Hero in person. This guy is big and heavy and I believe came apart in three pieces, but I had already been drinking a bit that night so it was a bit hazy. Android Series 3 peek part 06Cry-On by MAD
One of my favorite MAD*L designs from Phase 2 is now making a re-appearance for Android Series 3. The 'Cry-On' design by MAD (Jeremy Madl) actually looks a bit more like a spray-can on the Android than the MAD*L, but I think I'm still more partial to the MAD*L version. Maybe because I'm an iPhone user ... who knows? Good news is Andrew Bell should be releasing the drop dates later today.... [ read more ]

Celebrate TAG's 1st Anniversary at Melrose this SaturdayToy Art Gallery Anniversary Show 2012 on 9/15
This month has been Toy Art Gallery's first full year in it's new location on Melrose, and to celebrate they've invited 50+ artists to create exclusive editions, one-of-a-kind custom toys and works of art, limited edition apparel, and more. The 'TAG Anniversary Show' will open it's doors Saturday 9/15 starting at 7pm and it will run until 10pm. The drop of Jeremy Madl's collaboration with Round 5 will officially happen at 6pm on September 22nd at Toy Art Gallery. If you're a Bruce Lee fan there is no way you're going to skip this launch of Bruce Lee's Temple of Kung Fu. My only fault with this series is if you're a die-hard Bruce Lee or MAD fan then the 29 variations are probably going to break our wallet ... thankfully I'm not really a completist. I believe I remember Jeremy saying that when you open your blindbox you'll hear a classic Bruce Lee sound effect ... though I may have dreamt that part.... [ read more ]

MAD vs Sket One 4 foot Dunny Battle in Las VegasTwo day event during the MAGIC Tradeshow at S.L.A.T.E booth
A few months back I got to hear MAD pitching this idea during a dinner a Foxwoods and I have to say that I'm stoked Kidrobot listened ... my only problem is I won't be in Vegas. If you are anywhere near the Mandalay Bay then you have to see these two masters thrown down, MAD and Sket One, live at the MAGIC tradeshow August 20th & 21st. Seeing one 4' Dunny was pretty awesome, but seeing two being painted up by two amazing artists would be unreal. Good luck guys, going to have to flip a coin to pick a winner of this one....
