Part of the Munnyworld designs released in 2009. painting, sculpting, sketching, stop motion, watching mice run in wheels, drinking too much coffee, always late, taking random photographs, writing, listening, reading, reading, reading, digging the surreal, sometimes a mysterious hand in a music video and mostly always obtuse. ... e. ipolani is a native of Los Angeles with no formal training in the arts, but a plethora of informal experience. She credits pursuing being an artist to a fascination with animals/nature and growing up on a steady diet of Sesame Street, Jim Henson, classic films, trips to museums, old cartoons and many, many books. Her favored mantra is Yoshitaka Amano’s quote: “take your glasses off.”
