These guys actually went up on Thursday when we pushed all the last updates, but between managing the influx of users making updates to the site and gather all the images/info for the new book, this update fell behind a bit. Anyway, on to our featured artists:
Cris has been awesome to Trampt, helping us beta test the site and get a lot of his work into the Library. A custom show machine, Cris seems to be a part of every show that's been out this year. What's more amazing is that Cris finds the time to produce his own line of toys on top of that. His Sprogs, Rotunds, and more recently Ruckus pieces are generally up for a short time before they're sold out. If you're lucky to find one available, jump on it in his store.
UK native Matthew Plater has created some amazing customs for a variety of shows recently, his latest being an amazing Be@rbrick called 'Galapagos Spark' for the Icons show curated by the Hang Gang. His work is very textural and always amazing. You'll also be seeing a few of his pieces in our new book due out next summer.
DKNG is a studio fronted by Dan and Nathan who come up with some amazing prints for some amazing bands and commedians. I've already picked up a few of their prints, including their latest from the Please Post Bills show at Gallery 1988 that opened last week. If you haven't checked out their work you should, and check out their store to pick up some awesome prints.
I saw one of Arkiv's pieces up close at one of Art Asylum Boston's shows, and was looking forward to seeing him have a show in Boston until the Art Asylum guys decided to scam a bunch of people and flee town. Thankfully that hasn't hurt Arkiv as he's had several solo shows like Escapist in the US and his 'One or Nothing' show in Singapore. He's also releasing several new vinyl figures in the coming year, so be on the lookout.
Blake and I started Trampt back in 2010.. We love pouring all our free energy into more features, and soon we'll have... [more]
