Ryniak comes up with the best names for his pieces. definitely adds to collectibility. I feel like the name of a piece really adds character that isn't neccesarily there visually. It might seem riculous but I'm way more likely to invest in a piece with a cool name!

ToyCultureMagazine Not ridiculous at all! I look for cool names as well. I think what REALLY gets my attention more than anything is if the piece has a backstory... brings so much character into the figure. over 11 years ago

GrimmShepard v Me too. Especially because all this stuff ends up on my shelves displayed. When creatures or characters all exist within a similar surreality, in which there story exists, it gives them so much more character when there displayed together. That's one of the reasons I always loved Doktor A also, his Mechtorian series definitely has that appeal. over 11 years ago

GrimmShepard v This one reminds me of Slimer from Ghostbusters! over 11 years ago

ToyCultureMagazine Yes! Exact reason I love Plaseebo (Bob Conge). Every single time I read a story linked to one of his figures, it just brings so much into it. Its amazing how much of a difference something like that can make. over 11 years ago

GrimmShepard v Yes! As someone who grew up being constantly bombarded by media it's interesting how myself and other collectors I know seem to develop personal relationships/attachments to the toys we collect and the worlds that the toys populate. Self definition through style... over 11 years ago
