These collectibles range from classic vinyl figures to avant-garde reinterpretations by renowned artists and brands. Medicom Toy has released multiple BE@RBRICK Doraemon figures in different sizes (100%, 400%, and 1000%), featuring the character’s signature blue-and-white look. There are also special editions, such as the Manga Version, which showcases original manga panels across the figure. Various Japanese toy makers, such as Secret Base and Bandai, have produced sofubi (soft vinyl) Doraemon figures, often with translucent bodies, glow-in-the-dark features, or skeletal X-ray designs. As an art toy producer, Bandai is recognized for producing highly detailed, premium collectible figures that often blend the worlds of pop culture, anime, and designer toys. While Bandai is best known for its mainstream products, particularly in the action figure and model kit markets, its work as an art toy producer emphasizes quality craftsmanship, innovative design, and a deep connection to iconic media franchises.
