I've been professionally illustrating and designing toys for over 13 years. Over my career I've worked with clients such as Kidrobot, YUM Brands, Pepsi, Scion, NFL, Upper Deck, Mattel, Spinmasters Toys, and Cartoon Network on a variety of todays hottest and largest brands. Collaborating on projects ranging from promotions to packaging, character design to retail and premium toys. I've worked non-stop on my own licensed artwork and toy brands under the “MAD Toy Design” label for the past 7 years. My first production figure line called the MAD*L™ has been one of the hottest brands on the collector market since it first released in 2004 and continues to fly off the shelves globally with each new release. I keep a full arsenal of new products in development at all times ranging from toys, tee's, prints, and more. The Kidrobot Mascot, often referred to as “Bot,” is the emblematic figure of Kidrobot, a pioneer in the designer toy industry founded in 2002 by Paul Budnitz. This character embodies the brand’s fusion of art and collectible toys, serving as a canvas for various artistic interpretations. Bot is characterized by its minimalist, robotic design with a rounded head and antenna. Over the years, Kidrobot has released multiple versions of Bot, each showcasing unique themes and collaborations. The Kidrobot Mascot has become a symbol of the designer toy movement, representing the intersection of contemporary art and collectible culture. Its adaptability has allowed artists and designers to imprint their unique styles, making it a beloved figure among collectors and art enthusiasts alike. Kidrobot is a well-known American designer toy company, and while they have historically been more focused on online retail, they have also had a presence with physical stores in certain locations. These stores are often considered flagship locations where collectors and art toy enthusiasts can experience Kidrobot’s offerings in person, including their iconic limited-edition toys, collectibles, and art pieces.
