About this Artist
Like most kids. I grew up loving toys. It began with the Lego phase, moved on to Star Wars, then Transformers and most recently, it's been vinyl figures. I've also always loved to make things. I think this love of "arts and crafts" stemmed from my need to have things that I couldn't afford or just weren't available. I remember building an Autobot base using cardboard boxes and produce containers, Pulse riffles out of tennis racquets and ruining perfectly good sneakers and shirts trying to customize them. Probably the most absurd example was when I made a goalie mask out of paper, sponge, ribbon and Lego train tracks as the cage (I even brought this thing to the playground and wore it for a foot hockey game).Whatever it was, I always took pride in trying to make something seem legit and proper by pretty amateur means. This love of toys, building and customization led me to the idea of making my own vinyl figure and in early 2004, I started Boutiqueoeuff. I built this site as a place to post my own custom Oeuffs inspired by those who have supported and influenced me and those who I've looked up to
