You think they will plop down a mothership next to the local Walmart? Maybe set a saucer on the Apple Glass Cube on 5th Ave? Or will a little green dude walk into Starbucks, say, “Greetings Earthling!” and proceed to order a Pumpkin Spiced Latte!? — don’t be silly. Our invasion will take form of collectable art known as designer toys. We've scoured this planet for it's finest artists and creatives to define the vessels of our mind control devices. Each of limited quantity and premium quality meant to collect and bring joy, these "toys" are a perfect means to infiltrate. At first it's just one art toy, a cool vinyl figure that speaks to your style, then another, and another. Soon you won't be able to stop and WE will take credit for that! ANATOY is a South Korean art toy platform that uniquely blends anatomical design with storytelling to explore personal and societal complexities. Developed by DanDesign Inc., ANATOY features a series of modular figures, each representing individuals confronting various mental or physical challenges. The platform aims to foster empathy and self-awareness by encouraging users to reflect on and share their own experiences through these customizable toys. At the heart of ANATOY is the idea of “the complex”—the internal struggles and insecurities that people often face. Each figure is designed with an anatomical structure, symbolizing the transparency and vulnerability associated with confronting one’s issues. The toys consist of 12 swappable parts connected via articulated joints, allowing for personalization and expression of individual journeys toward overcoming personal challenges. Five Points Festival is America's premiere Designer Toy festival, bringing together the shining stars of Designer Toys, Street Art, Indie Comics, Enamel Pins and Apparel from all over the world under one roof! RsinArt is a self taught artist living in Reading Pennsylvania. Early 2008 he decided to sit down and teach himself to paint, after having no previous training. With a constant need to improve, he has worked hard over the past 4 years to build a strong sense of personal style. Creating a world he calls "Whispers", and contains many creatures that often take shape on the three dimensional art toys and sculpts he's known for. Rsin's artistic vision has him working on a wide range of mediums from Designer Vinyl, Canvas, Watercolor, sculpture, ect. Since picking up a brush in January of 2008 Rsin has participated in over 50 shows, in galleries from New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Montreal, Germany, Amsterdam, Detroit and more. As well as participated in big events like Art Basel Miami, New York Comic Con, San Diego Comic Con, Dcon, Wizard World and more. 2012 will see Rsin coming out with production work as well as starting to release limited resin toys and countinuing toward his goal of growing and learning as an artist with each new piece.
