To celebrate the 9th installment of the annual winter spectacular, Gift Wrapped, Clutter has gathered over 120 amazing artists from all over the globe to bring you affordable art just in time for the holidays!! Gift Wrapped is a special holiday season (not holiday-themed) art exhibition designed to encourage people to buy unique, hand-made, artist-driven gifts for the holidays. The show features a mixture of 2D, 3D, wall hanging, and standing pieces, in all genres of the designer toy and contemporary art world. Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Located in the artistic community of Beacon, New York (home to the world famous Dia museum), Clutter Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. Self-produced art toys are designer collectibles created and manufactured independently by the artist or small teams without the backing of a large toy company or mass-market brand. These toys are often highly personal, artistic expressions and are usually made in limited runs. Key Characteristics include independent creation where the artist is in control of the entire process from concept, sculpting, and painting to production and packaging. These are usually made in small batches, often 10–100 pieces, which adds to their rarity, made using materials like resin, sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl), or 3D-printed components. Jin-woo Woo and DADA-Miwoo married and have worked since 2015. Woo, an animator, and DADA, a fine artist, have come together to create various artworks. He mostly works on creating the toys and she paints the colors. And Min-ji Im, who makes fabric items such as scarf and cape, also joined them as a team. Now they are happy traveling in space with Miwu. BURNING MONSTER’s toys come in two versions: artist version and normal version. The artist version is 100% hand-painted limited edition and sold at higher prices than the normal version.
