Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. Skewville is an art collective consisting of identical twin brothers, Ad & Droo, best known for their custom wooden sneakers. In the late 1990’s, the duo started witnessing the evolution of graffiti as it changed into the ever-popular Street Art movement. The need for a new media space gave birth to their wooden sneaker mission. In 1999, the twins started creating the fake shoes to make their mark in Street Art. In the years that followed, they have produced thousands of pairs and tossed them over power lines around the world in a quest to go “All Globe”. For this show, each participating artist was asked to create a set of custom wooden sneakers, to be displayed as part of the group show hosted by Clutter. Fashion Designer Claudia Gold got her start as Claw Money- her legendary graffiti alter ego. For the past three decades you could find her iconic Claw tag all over the New York City landscape. These days she is parlaying her street cred into a luxury lifestyle brand with an edge. Claudia’s line, Claw Money, features clothing, accessories and sunglasses, worn by some of the most stylish celebs- think MIA, Santigold, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna. Her line can be found at exclusive retailers like Colette Paris, Patricia Field New York, and Fred Segal Santa Monica.
