Daydream Nimbus - Pink Lush Edition (Woot Bear)

Woot Bear is a distinctive collectible designer toy store and art gallery located in San Francisco, California. Situated at 1512 Haight Street, it serves as both a retail space and a platform for artists to showcase their work. Woot Bear curates monthly art exhibitions, providing a venue for artists from around the world to present their creations. These exhibitions often feature original pieces alongside collectible figurines and products from various renowned brands. Paulus Hyu is an Indonesian designer toy artist renowned for creating the character “Nimbus,” a French bulldog with a cloud-like head symbolizing daydreaming. This creation has become iconic in the art toy community.  Hyu began his career as a graphic designer and later transitioned into the designer toy scene. In collaboration with local toy designers Eric Noah and Rendy Pranata, he co-founded the design studio Kurobokan, which has been instrumental in producing and promoting designer toys.  His portfolio includes various editions of Nimbus, such as the “Sleepwalker Nimbus” and “Daydream Nimbus,” released in collaboration with platforms like Unbox Industries and Kurobokan. These editions have been featured in events like the Thailand Toy Expo.
