His work seamlessly blends elements of the surreal, grotesque, and whimsical, often exploring themes of transformation, mortality, and personal mythology. Nolasco’s art is characterized by a fusion of “cute characters with nightmarish backdrops,” creating pieces that are both endearing and unsettling. He employs a diverse palette and mixed media techniques to craft unique textures and forms, reflecting his belief in constant evolution and the interplay between life and art
