About this Venue

We are an art gallery in Italy that sells exclusive art prints, photographs and contemporary art at affordable price. We founded our business in order to offer you limited edition art in a smooth way, with home delivery, to better prices than traditional galleries. We make exclusive art print editions of paintings, drawings and other art, so we can sell the same art as other galleries, at a low price. In this way, more people can afford good and interesting art. We work closely with our artists to produce the highest quality of fine art prints as possible. We represent both established artists that you already know and new interesting names that are on the way forward. Right now, we sell all our art only in our webshop. If you want further information on a specific piece in our gallery, do not hesitate to contact our customer service. Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a neologism for the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray". It was coined in 1991 by Jack Duganne, a printmaker working in the field, to represent any inkjet-based digital print used as fine art. The intent of that name was to distinguish commonly known industrial "Iris proofs" from the type of fine art prints artists were producing on those same types of printers. The name was originally applied to fine art prints created on Iris printers in a process invented in the early 1990s but has since come to mean any high quality ink-jet print and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such prints.
