About this Artist
Owlberry Lane is an old, moss-covered cobblestone street deep in the emerald forest. It is said that once an ancient tribe of elflings lived there, but it has been long since abandoned. Currently, it is home to the Owlberries, the Tuftlies, and many other (mostly) friendly monster creatures that sneak about the shadows of the forest living out their magical, but mostly silly, monster lives. Heather Hyatt is an award-winning graphic designer who has served a variety of professional roles, as well as a multidisciplinary studio artist who has exhibited at galleries and venues worldwide. Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Located in the artistic community of Beacon, New York (home to the world famous Dia museum), Clutter Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. Self-produced art toys are designer collectibles created and manufactured independently by the artist or small teams without the backing of a large toy company or mass-market brand. These toys are often highly personal, artistic expressions and are usually made in limited runs. Key Characteristics include independent creation where the artist is in control of the entire process from concept, sculpting, and painting to production and packaging. These are usually made in small batches, often 10–100 pieces, which adds to their rarity, made using materials like resin, sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl), or 3D-printed components. Clutter Gallery is proud to present the 11th annual GIFT WRAPPED!! Featuring over 150 artists, each piece in the show has a maximum retail price of $350, and unlike our usual exhibits, all sold pieces will be able to be taken home on the night of the opening [cash and carry style] (or shipped shortly thereafter). This is a perfect opportunity to get a unique gift for someone special or a little something for yourself!!
