Leo'z Series 3 - Nathan Jurevicius

After the success of the first series of small styled lions, the PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB and ARTOYZ join forces again to offer the Leoz's Series 3. Léo is a very stylized lion designed by Christophe Pialat designer at Peugeot Design Lab, he totally revisited the lion of Peugeot by instilling the new codes of the mark. The result is resolutely modern and innovative. The Leo'z Series 3 consists of 12 collectible designs. The series consists of 6 designs by 6 designers from Peugeot Design Lab - Guillaume Josson, TOF, Mathilde Rollin, Han, Cyrielle Lecher and Brice and 6 others by well-known artists from the world of designer toys - Joe Ledbetter (USA), Tougui (FR), Superdeux (FR), Olla Boku (TW), Nathan Jurevicius (AUS) and Igor Ventura (BRE). Nathan Jurevicius is an illustrator, director, toy designer, author, and concept artist. He specializes in creating immersive worlds populated by unique characters. One of his most acclaimed concepts is Scarygirl, which includes an ever-evolving collection of individuals expressed through limited-edition figures, video games, and animation. Since the early 2000s, Nathan has had brief stints in London as an editorial illustrator and in Providence, Rhode Island, where he freelanced for Hasbro Inc. In 2013, he became a professor at the Pictoplasma Academy in Berlin, where he co-tutors a master class focused on character design. Between 2018 and 2019, he served as the Creative Director at Dark Slope, a studio that develops location-based virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences. He is also recognized for the Australian Academy Award-winning "PELEDA" universe, which is part of his ongoing series on owl-centric Baltic mythology and includes collaborations with Kidrobot and IKEA. Currently, Nathan travels between Canada, Australia and Europe as a freelance artist across various media, including games, animation, toys, and publishing. Artoyz Originals is the main production label from Artoyz, European pioneer in Designer Toys since 2003.
