"The idea of multiples is the distribution of ideas" -Joseph Beuys Cerealart develops, produces and distributes a range of three-dimensional visual artist's multiples. The sculptural designs are conceptualized by critically acclaimed internationally recognized contemporary artists who are interested in exploring the possibilities presented by consumer culture. Authorship is published and highlighted as an integral part of each work. The designs are limited production editions and are distributed through Cerealart, Museums and galleries throughout North America, Great Britain, Europe, Asia and Australia and New Zealand. Born 4 January 1959 in Hirosaki, Japan) is a Japanese artist. He lives and works in Tokyo, though his artwork has been exhibited worldwide. Nara received his B.F.A. (1985) and an M.F.A. (1987) from the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music. Between 1988 and 1993, Nara studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, in Germany. Nara has had nearly 40 solo exhibitions since 1984. He is represented in New York City by Marianne Boesky Gallery, in Los Angeles by Blum & Poe and in London by Stephen Friedman Gallery
