Thinkspace Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Los Angeles, California, known for its focus on urban, pop surrealism, and street art. Founded in 2005, the gallery has gained a reputation for showcasing cutting-edge, emerging artists who blend traditional and modern artistic styles. Thinkspace is celebrated for promoting contemporary artists whose works explore themes of fantasy, the surreal, and the experimental, making it a pivotal space in the art toy and street art communities. I currently live and work in Oakland, California with my wife Evah and our cat Jalapeño. Once in a while I take on illustration commissions, but most of the time I paint and sculpt for exhibitions. I think it’s important to constantly challenge oneself with new ideas and new mediums. My interpretations of the world are mostly rooted in science then executed through painting and sculpting. These are the best ways for me to communicate, but I enjoy making other things as well. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.
