Ryan McClure is the sole artist of Rocketboy Customs (designer toys, prints and illustrations) and Artist/Creator of the comic book series Waking Wally Street. Opening July 2012, Galerie F presents itself to the city of Chicago as the first open-door gallery space. Fully functional six days of the week, all day long, with no appointments required. Fonzo is a designer art toy created by Venezuelan art collective Burundanga Design in collaboration with Freak Store. Inspired by the French bulldog owned by Freak Store’s proprietors, Fonzo serves as both an art piece and the store’s mascot. The original Fonzo figure stands 6 inches tall and features a stylized French bulldog with a rounded form and expressive features, providing a versatile canvas for artistic customization. The design has also been expanded into a series called “Fonzo & Friends,” introducing characters like Coco, Lucas, and Bertha, further enriching the Fonzo universe.
