ToyQube & Gallery is located in Flushing, New York, straight out of the Q borough. The big apple is right in the heart of the exploding toy scene. Many of the most sought after artist/designers originated from these very streets. You might notice that many of out products seem to be influenced by street culture, TQ represents this in the fullest. We bring you not only designer vinyl toys and other collectable figures, but we also carry kicks, clothing, and other gear that comes with the lifestyle. Most of our toys come directly from Japan, Hong Kong and other European countries - too many to name. And of course we carry a variety of figures by local designers in the states. We are just trying to satisfy everyone from the vinyl collectors to the sneaker heads. Josh Hall, AKA "Baghead", was born and raised in the suburbs of Miami, Florida. After attending only a few semesters of college, Hall furthered his education in mixed media as a street artist, producing commissioned and non commissioned public works. Heavily influenced by skate and tattoo culture, Hall's work references both urban and organic origins that creatively reconstruct his newfound freedom as an artist. Past exhibitions include "Art Whino" (Washington DC,) "Superchief" (New York,) "Thinkspace" (Los Angeles,) "Stolen Space" (London,) "Gauntlet" (San Francisco,) "Subliminal Projects" (Los Angeles,) "Vs. Gallery" (Australia,) and "Vertical" (Chicago.) He has also shown in "Scope Art Fair" during Art Basel Miami Beach, the Honolulu Museum during "Pow Wow Hawaii," as well as "Secret Walls" in Puerto Rico, Tampa and Miami. Cobranded art collaborations include Adidas, Apple, Converse, Heineken, Juxtapoz, Miami Heat (NBA), Pabst Blue Ribbon, Redbull, and Toyqube.
