'Experience a blast from the past with "The Missing Elements", an exhibition of new 2D works from retro illustrators Brandon Ragnar Johnson and Scott Tolleson. Renowned for their distinct characters and variegated palette, the artists are taking their work to new grounds: simultaneously redefining and expanding their styles to showcase their diverse backgrounds in advertising, animation and character design. Brandon Ragnar Johnson makes stuff. Pictures, paintings, books, cartoons, toys, fonts and other things. When not making stuff he's with his wife Jill and their three children: Oliver, Izzy and Monty. If he's not making stuff or spending time with his family he's, probably fishing or reading comic books. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.
