About this Artist
Nathan Jurevicius is an illustrator, director, toy designer, author, and concept artist. He specializes in creating immersive worlds populated by unique characters. One of his most acclaimed concepts is Scarygirl, which includes an ever-evolving collection of individuals expressed through limited-edition figures, video games, and animation. Since the early 2000s, Nathan has had brief stints in London as an editorial illustrator and in Providence, Rhode Island, where he freelanced for Hasbro Inc. In 2013, he became a professor at the Pictoplasma Academy in Berlin, where he co-tutors a master class focused on character design. Between 2018 and 2019, he served as the Creative Director at Dark Slope, a studio that develops location-based virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences. He is also recognized for the Australian Academy Award-winning "PELEDA" universe, which is part of his ongoing series on owl-centric Baltic mythology and includes collaborations with Kidrobot and IKEA. Currently, Nathan travels between Canada, Australia and Europe as a freelance artist across various media, including games, animation, toys, and publishing. Andrew, an avid Android user himself, teamed up with some friends at Google to bring their little green mascot to life. Series 1 features 12 different designs in blind-boxed cases of 16. Pick up a few and try your luck, or grab a whole case to secure a nearly-full set. Be on the lookout for some super rare chase editions. Each vinyl figure stands 3” tall and features a rotating head and arms. Dyzplastic is the designer toy brand created by Andrew Bell, a well-known artist and toy designer. The brand is most recognized for producing high-quality vinyl figures, often featuring Bell’s signature blend of whimsical, creepy, and playful aesthetics. One of Dyzplastic’s most famous projects is the Android Mini Collectibles series, created in collaboration with Google. These figures are based on the Android OS mascot and come in a variety of artistic designs, including collaborations with different artists. Aside from Android figures, Dyzplastic has also produced original designer toys, often inspired by Bell’s dark yet humorous take on creatures, food, and pop culture. Many of the brand’s creations reflect his artistic style, which blends soft curves, bold colors, and surreal, sometimes unsettling, themes.
