Tattooed Oni

A figurine that appears to be inspired by a demonic or supernatural character. The figurine has a large, menacing face with exaggerated features, including sharp teeth and intense eyes. It has horns protruding from its head. The body of the figurine is adorned with intricate patterns and designs, giving it a detailed and artistic appearance. The overall design suggests a blend of traditional and modern artistic elements.Marshall burst onto the scene in January 2008 when a relatively unknown design team from a small town in Michigan released a letter-pressed print of their new character, an infectiously happy little marshmallow boy who just happened to enjoy roasting marshmallows himself. The Marshall shown on the print was equal parts cute and sadistic, one of our favorite combinations. From the first time we saw Marshall we knew that 64 Colors’ partners, Laura and Eric, had hit on something fantastic. Luckily for us it turns out that Laura and Eric were not only great designers, but also fans of designer toys…and as it turns out, fans of Rotofugi. So when they approached us about the idea of making Marshall toys, we jumped at the opportunity and suggested a blind box series. Born into the greyness of England at the end of the Seventies, by the age of four Jon-Paul Kaiser knew that what he wanted to do in life was a draw. From that point he rarely strayed from that path; scribbling and doodling his way through School, College and University. After working with Porlzilla, Jon-Paul decided to go it alone concentrating at first on the toy customization scene, building up a name and strong reputation for himself with his stark Black & White custom style, influenced by comic book art, film noir & Ukiyo-e prints. This lead to him being approached by established toy producers for designs for their platform toys. Principally amongst these are Toy2R who have released numerous JPK Platforms.
