From that point he rarely strayed from that path; scribbling and doodling his way through School, College and University. After working with Porlzilla, Jon-Paul decided to go it alone concentrating at first on the toy customization scene, building up a name and strong reputation for himself with his stark Black & White custom style, influenced by comic book art, film noir & Ukiyo-e prints. This lead to him being approached by established toy producers for designs for their platform toys. Principally amongst these are Toy2R who have released numerous JPK Platforms. The Young Robin platform comes in 5 sizes Tiny = 19mm (0.74 inches) Mini = 32mm (1.26 inches) Regular = 52mm (2.24 inches) Sofubi = 65mm (2.56 inches) Jumbo = 98mm (4 inches) Young Robin was born back in 2017 with Cat Crusader and Robin the Bird Wonder. we are all super pleased that Malte is releasing more Young Robin on its own as Young Robin deserves all the attention.
