The Curator of Secrets

A character that appears to be a fantastical or mythical figure. The character is wearing a helmet that resembles a bird skull with large, curved horns on either side. The helmet is detailed with intricate patterns and designs. The figure is clad in armor that has a segmented, plate-like appearance, and it is adorned with various straps and chains. The armor is predominantly white with black detailing. The figure also holds a weapon, possibly a hammer or mace, in one hand. The overall aesthetic of the image is dark and intricate, with a strong emphasis on the contrast between black and white.Born into the greyness of England at the end of the Seventies, by the age of four Jon-Paul Kaiser knew that what he wanted to do in life was a draw. From that point he rarely strayed from that path; scribbling and doodling his way through School, College and University. After working with Porlzilla, Jon-Paul decided to go it alone concentrating at first on the toy customization scene, building up a name and strong reputation for himself with his stark Black & White custom style, influenced by comic book art, film noir & Ukiyo-e prints. This lead to him being approached by established toy producers for designs for their platform toys. Principally amongst these are Toy2R who have released numerous JPK Platforms. 2petalrose jets from the UK to the Bay for his first ever solo show in over a decade in the industry and we are (dare we say) chuffed at the honor! In addition to the original works by the artist, 2petalrose has called upon a supreme legion of 13 artists to interpret his iconic Kid Katana figure.
