About this Platform

A Munny is a figure created by Kidrobot and made out of vinyl with movable joints. The initial idea was undertaken by taggers/ street artists/ street art designs and toys from (illegal artists) who have come to bring back their work legally to the public to display their works. The figures are blank and the owner can decorate them using pens, pencils, markers, paint, and other supplies. Alternatively, some people commission artists to design Munnys for them, or artists design them to sell. In MUNNYWORLD, you can do anything you want! MUNNY, BUB, TRIKKY, RAFFY, and ROOZ are the soft, super smooth vinyl figures that make up MUNNYWORLD. Each one is a blank canvas, and all ready for scribbling, piercing, painting, posing, piling, dressing up, and sculpting into forms straight from your imagination or you can keep them just as they are. See how great you truly are. Do amazing things and create more than ever before. And, most importantly, have fun with MUNNYWORLD Stranger Factory is the newest branch of the Circus Posterus family tree, a unique highly visible gallery located in Nob Hill just off the historically famous Route 66 (Central Ave) in the heart of Albuquerque, New Mexico and is dedicated to bringing a new style of art to the area. Drawing since I was 2 yrs old, I had a passion for creating and developing characters and creatures. It was movies like the Lion King, Jurassic Park and Jim Henson’s Labyrinth that inspired the dream of sculpting and one day making creatures and characters into toys or even for films. In my spare time when Im not working as a concept artist for game companies, I sculpt and invest time in my business “Monster Mind Sculpts”. Although it can be challenging to stay motivated after a long day’s work, it is the drive to pour my creativity and passions in sculpture that gives me the energy to move forward.
