Tim Biskup is an American artist recognized for his vibrant and dynamic works that encompass painting, sculpture, printmaking, and design. His style blends influences from mid-20th-century modern design, punk rock, and pop surrealism, resulting in pieces characterized by bold colors and intricate patterns. Biskup studied at the Otis College of Art and Design before venturing into the animation and illustration industries, where he contributed to projects for companies like Disney and Cartoon Network. Biskup co-founded GAMA-GO, a San Francisco-based retail company specializing in housewares, gifts, apparel, toys, and accessories. Acrylic paint is fast drying paint containing pigment suspension in acrylic polymer emulsion. Acrylic paints can be diluted with water, but become water-resistant when dry. Depending on how much the paint is diluted (with water) or modified with acrylic gels, media, or pastes, the finished acrylic painting can resemble a watercolor or an oil painting, or have its own unique characteristics not attainable with other media.
