Q Pop is the exclusive southern California seller of Harajuku fashion labels Algonquins and Sex Pot Revenge, as well as the exclusive US seller of Super Lovers. We also carry Swimmer, Hip Hero and many other creative and fun designers. Located in the historic Little Tokyo area of downtown Los Angeles, Q Pop features beautiful interior design by Justin K Thompson. It also features 2 large murals by renowned artists Kevin Dart, Chris Turnham, and Elizabeth Ito. Q Pop is also a mini gallery space. Exhibitions, events, and performances take place regularly. Q Pop opened it’s doors on Nov.12 2010 and strives to bring the best in worldwide creativity to you. CHRIS MITCHELL Co-owner Chris Mitchell is an illustrator , artist, and filmmaker. Chris graduated from Cal Arts and has gone on to design and write on many popular and groundbreaking animation projects. Ren and Stimpy, Power Puff Girls, Samurai Jack, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, to name a few. Chris was nominated for an Emmy for his work Javier Jiménez is a self-taught illustrator and character designer based in Granada, Spain. His style is influenced by kaiju movies, toys, classic cartoons, urban culture and hip hop. For most of his digital works he relies on vectors, giving a clean and eye-catching vibe to his illustrations. In love with crime movies and TV shows like The Godfather and The Wire, he sees kaiju as gangsters whose existence is dedicated to committing crimes and making people suffer...but on a bigger level. His original characters are Kaiju, organized in gangs and mafias who fight amongst each other, and the forces of justice. With their arsenal of baseball bats, guns and of course, super Kaiju powers, they're a force to be reckoned with.
