Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. Skewville is an art collective consisting of identical twin brothers, Ad & Droo, best known for their custom wooden sneakers. In the late 1990’s, the duo started witnessing the evolution of graffiti as it changed into the ever-popular Street Art movement. The need for a new media space gave birth to their wooden sneaker mission. In 1999, the twins started creating the fake shoes to make their mark in Street Art. In the years that followed, they have produced thousands of pairs and tossed them over power lines around the world in a quest to go “All Globe”. For this show, each participating artist was asked to create a set of custom wooden sneakers, to be displayed as part of the group show hosted by Clutter. Marka27 is a prolific artist who is never confined to one medium. His graffiti has been seen in high profile galleries throughout the east and west coast and has shown along side artist such as Futura, and Sam Flores. His street murals/ graffiti have been published in several life style magazines and books, most recent "Graffiti Planet", "Burning New York" and "Graffiti L.A". Marka27 made his mark with his original "Audio Canvas" paintings with built in speakers, also his large speaker installations with legendary hiphop icons painted on the speaker boxes. The latest manifestations from the restless mind of Marka27 are the minigods, the first indigenous urban vinyl toys. Marka27 also collaborated with Bic Plastics to produce a new and fresh platform toy "Bic BUDDY" which has had huge success with it's first release of artists series one in the U.S featuring many well known and up and coming artists such as Brand Peters, Cope2, Mad, Sket, Kano, Jesse Hernandez, and others.
