Baker Loong Cat

Longmi is a fusion of a cat and a Chinese dragon, who always carries a dragon bone mask. This mask grants Longmi magical powers, and different masks also bestow upon Longmi different identities! Hotru — deriving from the Teochew dialect pronunciation of "鹤如" (Hèrú), meaning fun, cute, and interesting — offers a uniquely diverse experience: owners can change the appearance of their cat or dragon-pig hybrid figures with an array of masks. These range from foxes and deer to the Taotie, a mythical creature whose motif is iconic on ancient Chinese ritual bronzes. Designer Cai Runquan thus blends playful appeal with classical heritage, giving these collectibles a distinct Chinese character.
