About this Artist

As an artist for the past 30 years, my experience has been in many various forms of graphic design, from screen printing in high school to commercial advertising with ad agencies all over the world. My passion however, lies with technical fashion and apparel graphics. I have extensive experience and knowledge of the Action Sports Industry and the SPEED markets-in both design and development. High-end motocross riding gear, full helmet and glove design to creating designs for wet & dry suits for the watersports market. All of which focus on graphics with a harmonious blend of function, anatomic design, innovation and technology. In addition to the Action Sports and Speed markets, I also create designer toys and action figures as well as design band and tour merchandise. Trade event and special projects. I am a painter, a builder and an illustrator at heart. MADL is a designer art toy platform created by Jeremy “MAD” Madl, one of the pioneers of the urban vinyl toy movement. First released in 2002, MADL figures are known for their bold, blocky shape, clean lines, and graffiti-inspired aesthetics. They were among the first American-designed vinyl toys to gain popularity, bridging the gap between street art, hip-hop culture, and designer collectibles. The MAD*L figure typically has a distinctive angular form with a broad head and a compact body, providing a great canvas for artists to customize. Over the years, the platform has featured numerous limited-edition releases, artist collaborations, and hand-painted customs, making it a highly sought-after collectible in the art toy scene.
