MTN 94 Spray Paint

A lot of the time when we explain to people what we do and how we work they say... "Man..you work together, and you are a couple! I'd end up killing my girlfriend/boyfriend if we collaborated on everything we did!" I guess we are pretty lucky...two peas in a pod! Two crazy, work-a-holic, mad dorks in a pod! After years of living, painting walls and working together we have only become closer, stronger and even more in sync. Every day we wake up, paint all day...and keep each other entertained with constant chatter and stupid jokes. Who could ask for more out of life!! We are both originally from Melbourne Australia, and have been living and working in LA for the past two years, soaking up the sun and chaos that surrounds us. Montana Colors (MTN) is a producer/brand for spraypaint, located in Spain. The company was started 1994 by Jordi Rubio and Miquel Galea, with the help of local writers Kapi and Moockie. They are the original Montana paint, collaborting with a lot of artists, setting up their own shops to support the scene etc. Spray paint is a versatile, fast-drying aerosol medium known for vibrant colors, smooth coverage on diverse surfaces (metal, wood, canvas, paper), and its role in street art/graffiti, offering artists speed, portability, and unique control through different nozzles (caps) for detailed or broad applications, often used in mixed media for backgrounds or layering. While historically for graffiti, modern art brands offer low-odor, pigment-rich, water-based options for studio use, demanding practice for technique but enabling quick, large-scale art.
