About this Venue

Clutter Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery specializing in the vibrant world of designer toys and lowbrow art. Located in the artistic community of Beacon, New York (home to the world famous Dia museum), Clutter Gallery has established itself as a premier destination for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2011, the gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of pop culture, street and low-brow art. In addition to its dynamic exhibitions, Clutter Gallery also houses an impressive permanent collection of Designer Toys, curated by the team behind its renowned print publication. This collection serves as a testament to the gallery’s deep-rooted connection to the designer toy movement and its commitment to preserving and celebrating this unique art form. To celebrate the launch of the awesome new Designer Toy platform, "The Brick” by Kyle Kirwan, we are bringing together top street and toy talent to create a classic exhibition! Standing at 5.5” tall, the vinyl “Brick” platform comes in base colors of Brick, or Glow-in-the-dark, both of which have been utilized by the artists taking part. His work is deeply influenced by the imagery and ideas he encountered during his childhood in the 1970s and 1980s, including television, comic books, films, music, and notably, robots. Chris RWK’s art features a distinctive visual language characterized by vibrant colors and lively strokes. His paintings often depict robots and other figures set against colorful cityscapes, reflecting the vibrancy and complexity of urban life. Drawing from his “mental journal,” a collection of images and ideas stored from his youth, his work references popular culture and everyday musings, invoking feelings of comfort and familiarity.
