Tree Spirit and Mini Robin Collaboration

Malte Fulda, professionally known as Muffinman, is a German artist specializing in designer toys and sculptures. Since entering the art toy scene in 2013, he has gained recognition for his handcrafted resin figures, particularly his signature “Young Robin” series.  Fulda’s “Young Robin” creations are celebrated for their intricate detailing and imaginative designs, often released in limited editions with unique themes and colorways. Notable editions include the “Pumpkin Robin,” “Techno Starling Robin,” and “Dracupar Robin.”  Self-produced art toys are designer collectibles created and manufactured independently by the artist or small teams without the backing of a large toy company or mass-market brand. These toys are often highly personal, artistic expressions and are usually made in limited runs. Key Characteristics include independent creation where the artist is in control of the entire process from concept, sculpting, and painting to production and packaging. These are usually made in small batches, often 10–100 pieces, which adds to their rarity, made using materials like resin, sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl), or 3D-printed components. Team Muju AKA Miss Muju & Mr Muju - are currently based in the coastal town of St Ives in Cornwall,England. Miss Muju works in 3D with cast resin, felt & textiles, creating Muju sculptures, while Mr Muju works in painting & printmaking. The two artists have been working together since 2004, exploring a shared creative vision of Mujuworld. Having spent time in Brighton running an independant store & gallery, ToyLife ,they now live & work & surf in St. Ives,Cornwall UK next to the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. Muju Studio is open to the public most days April – October : 12pm – 5pm , November – March : Thurs & Friday 12-4pm or by appointment , contact : muju74@yahoo.com.
