Zombi Foomi

The Foomi is a miniature version of Kidrobot’s customizable vinyl figures, designed to inspire creativity and artistic expression. Standing at approximately 2 inches tall, Foomi features movable joints and a smooth surface, making it an ideal canvas for customization. Artists and enthusiasts can personalize Foomi using various mediums such as paint, markers, stickers, or other decorative elements. This DIY approach allows for a wide range of unique and personalized designs, contributing to the vibrant culture of designer toys. ToyCon UK is the UK’s first ever dedicated designer toy convention. With exhibitors ranging from the UK’s best customisers, retailers and toy producers, the event will create a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the stars in this growing scene. Along with the amazing exhibitors and their incredible ware, there will be talks, question sessions and custom workshops with the biggest and brightest in the UK toy scene and beyond. It is the brainchild of three toy fans who decided it was high time the UK had an event to celebrate the talent of UK Toy Artists Animator and illustrator specialising in character, creature and games design with a passion for video games, animation, cinema and comic books I take influence from all of these as well as my love and interest for nature and wildlife. I try to reflect these influences in my personal work and feel they have all have a strong and positive affect on my work over the years. Professionally I have predominatly been working with Adobe Flash for the last few years. Gaining experience working in games design, educational media, virtual worlds, social media and advertising campaigns all aimed at the children to young teen audiences. These projects have allowed me the invaluable experience of working closely with a variety of other departments such as editorial content producers, community management teams and development teams as well as working alongside other designers.
