"I originally made this design for a tattoo, but loved it so much I wanted to make it into a piece of art. I love Halloween, so of course, I adore jack-o-lanterns. I am also very fond of cats. I tend to stick to very precise art tools like markers and colored pencils because my comfort zone lies in tattooing, which is extremely precise. However, I did work with some paint in this project; I am a big fan of using mixed medium to create a piece that flow well. Halloween is my favorite holiday so I thought it was an appropriate time of year to release it." - Megan Massacre
