it's the one thing that makes me really sad about this scene. had a quick search on the bay & see 2 Sucklord occupy cybertron figures there at over $400 each. as there were only 18 i think it's sad. same with the recent mini resin madls. i understand its part of the scene and sometimes the only way to get older pieces, it gets me worst when something was released yesterday & is up today. rant over :)

I hear you. Pretty sick seeing someone start the bidding at $149, Buy now at $199 for that Red Mini-MADL Resin and the seller hasn't even taken delivery yet. There are two others on eBay now, but at least the seller started the bidding at $1 and gave the reason as selling his collection. Not cool either but at least there is the remote chance you may even get it under what he paid.

Easily_Amused I just saw someone trying to Sale the American Depress on ebay for $749.99 even though it hasn't even been released yet... almost 12 years ago
crazylikeafox11 m @HoodedGrub - Yeah, I saw that too. Glad to see he was being true to his word. almost 12 years ago
I remember back in the day, probably still around, but there was one guy on eBay who had literally 100 rare Dunnys from a variety of series and 8"ers. They were all with a Buy it Now, and generally about $150 above what they were going for in auctions. When I emailed him to ask if wanted to sell it at a more reasonable price he said something like "I just wait around because generally I'm the only one at any given time selling an item, someone will see my price and assume that's what they go for and buy it". Super shitty but I assume it worked for him.

crazylikeafox11 m That's like this one "artist" that from what I noticed, got his start on ebay selling "rare" dunnys that were simply items he painted a different color. I know it's up to the buyer to do their research but listing something as a "rare chase" and "signed by artist" but stating nowhere that it's a custom & not a production piece is misleading and a skuzzy thing for an "artist" to do. about 12 years ago
crazylikeafox11 m That and his shipping was like $20 a dunny with a strict "will not combine shipping" policy. about 12 years ago
Easily_Amused Man both examples are shitty... almost 13 years ago
it takes patience, dedication, and some internet resources and you won't need to use ebay at all. Just remember, whether its weeks, months, or years, stuff pops up. Just gotta be willing to play the waiting game..

HoodedGrub m Well, at least the stores that ship here, but sometimes even if it's a little cheaper in the store, the store shipping prices kill the sale and EvilBay sellers that offer the cheapest USPS shipping often work out cheaper still even if the base price is more expensive. almost 13 years ago
Easily_Amused LOL! It was great until I paid the shipping... almost 13 years ago
