Despite the ever-present buzzing of critics and a busy year of creative exploration, Luke Chueh remains one of the classiest, hardest working guys in contemporary art. His simple, semi-biographial, and lovably inauspicious animals return in a new seires of paintings at Corey Helford Gallery (actually their sister gallery just a few doors down called CHG Circa) called Random Acts of Sadness. In case you didn't get enough of him at SDCC, come see Luke Chueh at the opening reception on Saturday, August 10th from 7-10pm. The show will remain up until September 7th.
