The official release from Corey Helford: Internationally known for his super bright, happy, and bold imagery, the paintings in the main gallery will celebrate the last eleven years of Buff Monster’s career, culminating in a timeless epic tale of good vs. evil. For the “Legend of the Pink Cherry,” the artist draws inspiration from Renaissance paintings. Buff Monster will introduce his latest creamy creation, a soft serve ice cream cone with human-like arms and legs. Each acrylic-on-wood panel piece in the show is delicately rendered with airbrush, a first for the artist.
from Buff Monster:
Yup, I’m going back to Corey Helford for my fifth solo show at the gallery. I’ve been hard at work on an all-new body of work and I can't wait for people to see it. And as if a whole new set of paintings wasn't enough, this time around the show opens on my birthday. A special night indeed. You won’t want to miss this one!
The show opens on Saturday April 14th, 2012 and runs until May 5th. For more information visit coreyhelfordgallery.com

so I spoke with the gallery a few hours ago, only selling the melty misfits cards by the case ($120) so that plus the $60 shipping to my part of the world means I'll be skipping them unless some kind soul is able to hook me up with a few packs :)

Mister-Quiche m yeah, the buff monster TOTT uncut playing cards print (run of only 13) actually was cheaper for me to pick up. hoping eventually someone will want to sell dupes, i just wanted a handful too as a little something from the release about 12 years ago
statusquo Ouch, that's pricey. about 12 years ago
The Melty Misfits Sticker Cards that are a Garbage Pail Kids Homage look awesome. Does anyone know how much they will be, or if they will be available to those who can't make the show?

Easily_Amused Ouch! Sorry man. They will probably be cheaper on ebay in a year or two... at $120 plus shipping there are other things I'd rather have myself. I was thinking I'd score a few packs as a representation of the series, but I guess I can't. about 12 years ago
