Do you admire a self-taught artist with tremendous skill? Do you like art with a sense of humor? Do you like boobs? Well I sure do, and for those reasons and more, I love Junko Mizuno. Her bold, bawdy, and sometimes spooky artwork was first introduced to me through her Dunnys (I know, I'm always late to the party) but since then I've grown to adore her paintings, illustrations and graphic novels, as well. Junko has been published and exhibited around the world, and you can catch a glimpse of her incredible work starting August 18th, 2012 at Gallery Nucleus where the original ink illustrations for her retelling of the Grimm Brother's Hansel and Gretel will be on display and available to collectors for the first time.
