Description
This Dust Bunny (Mothbunny?) is definitely nocturnal, and has an inexplainable attraction to lightbulbs. This is another one where I kept a seriously strict color palette - there are really only four colors in the whole piece - gray, navy blue, light blue, and a sort of periwinkle purple-blue. The body fabric was embroidered with these colors to form stripes, and the fur was custom-dyed. The wings have wire inside them so they can be posed, and are airbrushed to form the patterns. Also the wingspan is huge - like 15" or so! Approximately 9", excluding ears and antennae. Fabric, polymer clay, acrylic paints and varnishes, natural cotton, walnut hulls, resin, and glass. Wings are wired and can be posed.
