This figure is based on a series of prints the artist released, but the character was originally pitched to Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz back in 2002. The positioning of the character on the bomb and the cowboy hat are references to the ending of the classic film Dr. Strangelove. The artist sold 20 artist proofs of each colorway.
