Thanks in part to spankystokes.com and the wonderful flippers on eBay it should come as no surprise that this series is being released. Most of you have seen all the designs in the Dunny Apocalypse series from Kidrobot.... [ read more ]
If Ron English could have incorporated half of the emotion of his 'The Incredulous Hulkboy' sculpture into this figure I would definitely snatch it up. However, this Temper Tot has no emotion, no 'temper' or most importantly no RAGE! The figure looks like a confused, ripped baby waiting to go on stage for a body building competition that his parents are forcing him to participate in. After DKE announce the release for 2013 a variety of retailers have this 8" figure up for pre-order for $70.... [ read more ]
As part of their creative collaboration with Ron English, Dudebox delivered some Giant Dudes for Ron to customise, two Ted and two Scratch ... each stands approximately four foot tall and Ron decorated them with a psychedelic camouflage and finished them off with three eyes — one of Ron's signature styles as seen on his Rabbbits and other characters. Ron will also be on hand signing his King Monster, his new creation for Dudebox at booth #2915 on Friday (Oct 12) from 4PM-5PM and again on Saturday (Oct 13) from 2PM-3PM.... [ read more ]

Maybe my google-fu is failing me in my old age, but when I search for election artwork I can't seem to find pro-republican artwork. On the flip side projects like the Manifest Hope Show in 2009 featured work by Shepard Fairey, Ron English, Tristan Eaton, Jermaine Rogers, Sam Flores, etc fill my search results. Last week Dave Kinsey created the above print for the Obama campaign as an open edition until Nov 12th in hopes of helping raise money for the Obama campaign. (can be bought at blkmrktgallery.com)... In October 2011, Ron English brought his brand of POPaganda to the shelves of various Los Angeles-based grocery stores… by covertly sneaking faux cereal packages into their stock. One of these, Sugar Frosted Fat, introduced the world to Fat Tony; and now a 9" vinyl figure of that character with articulated arms is being produced. Set to retail at $60, this original edition is limited to 500 copies with subsequent colorways being limited to 100 copies each. Exact release date is not confirmed but expect them to arrive at retailers within the next couple of weeks.... [ read more ]
